I am not my favorite subject, honestly. I am either known as "that girl who makes yummy cupcakes and I think she takes pictures" or "that great photographer who also bakes". I'll take it either way.
me the baker: I baked my first cake with my grandma when I was very young. She let me do it all myself and I was beyond proud of my very delicious creation. I would be lying if I said that ever since that moment I wanted to bake. Honestly, I just wanted to eat it! I love to eat!..I'll just say it. I have a ton of fun baking. I enjoy the creative outlet I can experience with a pastry bag. I count it a blessing to be able to make a child's first birthday cake or put together fun and unique cupcakes for a wedding. As a bonus it's something that my husband and I can do together! He is extremely artistic and can pipe a cake with the best of 'em.
me: summer. wife. mother. I have a wonderful family; my husband Paul and my 3 children - Madison, Isaac and Reagan are my most favorite people. ever! I get take a bajillion pictures of them and in return they get to be my taste testers. At the end of the day, God gets all the credit for anything good in me. I love people and I love being able to serve them; be it a tasty - chocolately creation or producing pictures they will hang on their walls and remember for a life time.
